LIVERTTI APPLICATION PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy describes how Active Healthy Life Oy processes the personal data of users of the Livertti mobile application. We process personal data confidentially and in compliance with the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and other applicable legislation.

1. General and Service Description

Livertti is a mobile application that functions as a hobby buddy and hobby search service. The service allows users to create individual profiles, track their own and others' movement and workouts, and share content to support hobbies, finding new friends, and achieving goals.

The Service uses the LIPAS database from the University of Jyväskylä (updated 12.10.2025) to utilise information on sports and recreational facilities.

Acceptance: By using the Livertti application, you accept the processing of your personal data in accordance with the terms described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Personal Data Processed, Purpose, and Legal Basis for Processing

We collect and process only the personal data necessary for providing and developing the Service.

A. Registration and Profile Data

  • What is collected: Name (username), email address, age, gender, self-added hobbies (current/future).

  • Purpose: This data is collected to provide the Service, enabling registration and the creation of a user profile.

  • Legal Basis: Processing is based on the implementation of the Service's terms of use, i.e., the contract.

B. Activity and Behaviour Data

  • What is collected: Information and content related to movement, hobbies, and workouts (e.g., completed workouts, goals, shared content), location data.

  • Purpose: These are the core features of the Service that enable hobby tracking and searching for friends. They are also used for Service development and improving content offerings.

  • Legal Basis: Processing is based on the provision of the Service, i.e., the contract.

C. Statutory Data

  • What is collected: Data required by law, such as communication log data.

  • Purpose: Fulfillment of legal obligations.

  • Legal Basis: Processing is based on a legal obligation.

Note on Special Data: We collect and process data on hobbies, which can be combined with age and gender. This data is processed because it is essential for the core features of the Service (searching for a hobby buddy/hobby), and its processing is based on the performance of the contract.

3. Data Sources

Data is regularly obtained directly from the user:

  • During registration.

  • When using the Service (filling out the profile, producing content, tracking activity).

  • Potentially through forms on websites.

4. Data Transfer and Disclosure

Servers: The servers are located in the Nordic countries. By using the Service, you give your consent to the data transfer to these servers.

Third Parties:

  • Marketing: We do not disclose your personal data for marketing purposes to third parties.

5. Personal Data Retention Period

We retain your personal data for as long as you have an account in our Service or as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes defined in this policy. We also retain data for the period required by law (e.g., obligations under accounting law).

Account Deletion: The user can delete their account in the application. In this case, all personal data related to the account will be permanently deleted from the Service, except for data required by law to be retained for a longer period.

In accordance with GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access (right of inspection): Right to receive confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you is being processed, and, where that is the case, access to the personal data.

  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"): Right to request the deletion of data if there is no longer a legal basis for processing (e.g., upon account deletion).

  • Right to restriction of processing: Right to request the restriction of processing of personal data in certain situations.

  • Right to object: Right to object to processing based on legitimate interest.

  • Right to data portability: Right to receive the data you have provided to us in a commonly used and machine-readable format and to transmit it to another controller.

  • Right to withdraw consent: If the processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw it at any time.

Active Healthy Life Oy protects your personal data with appropriate technical and organizational measures, including:

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13 without the express consent of a parent or guardian. If you are under 13, you must have the consent of a guardian to use the Service.
